If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn’t know who to call. Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence this “ICE” (In Case of Emergency) Campaign.

Hi Friends, It is about to happen again. In July 2011, there was a Free Skill Acquisition Programme at Redemption House, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Nuru Oniwo Street, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos. There was six classes namely: Computer Engineering, Web Site Designing, Event management & Production, Catering & Small Chop, Computer Appreciation and Bead & Hat classes. It was marvelous and so many participant testified about what they learn. I was opportune to train the Web Design Class and here is a group picture of students graduated from my class.

MONDAY, Sept. 26 (HealthDay News) — Eating fruits and vegetables may reduce the risk of some colorectal cancers, according to a new study.

Austrailian researchers examined the diets of 918 colorectal cancer patients and 1,021 people with no history of the disease and found that consumption of certain vegetables and fruits were associated with a decreased risk of cancer in the proximal and distal colon — that is, the upper and lower portions of the colon.

Former President Clinton to put out book on jobs

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Bill Clinton is no longer president but says he is so concerned about the bleak U.S. economic outlook that he will set out his blueprint for America in a new book to be published in November.

Clinton’s “Back to Work” lays out the former president’s plan to get the country “back into the future business,” Knopf Chairman andEditor in Chief Sonny Mehta said in a statement.

NECO releases results, records another mass failure

Another mass failure has been recorded by students across the country in the just announced 2011 June/July Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results.

Registrar, Chief Executive of the Council, (NECO) while announcing the results in Minna Friday, exonerated the Council from  the poor outing of students nationwide, adding that structures that ensured that appropriate standards of excellence and transparency were maintained before, during and after the examinations were put in place.
